Saint Stephen Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the largest Lutheran body in North America.
Saint Stephen is located just north of the Route 29/New Hampshire Ave. interchange in the White Oak section of Silver Spring. The church is directly across New Hampshire Ave. from Sunrise Assisted Living.
From the Beltway (495): Take Exit 28A, 650 New Hampshire Avenue North White Oak. Pass White Oak Shopping Center and Route 29. Make a U-turn at Quaint Acres Drive. Make an immediate right into church driveway.
From Randolph Road and points north: Travel South on New Hampshire Ave. Pass Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home on your right. Pass Quaint Acres Drive. Make an immediate right into church driveway.
From the Baltimore/Columbia area: Take Route 29 South and exit at New Hampshire Avenue North. Make a U-turn at Quaint Acres Drive. Make an immediate right into church driveway.
From downtown Silver Spring: Take Route 29 North and exit at New Hampshire Avenue North. Make a U-turn at Quaint Acres Drive. Make an immediate right into church driveway.
On Metrobus: The K6 Metrobus stops on New Hampshire Avenue in front of Saint Stephen. To obtain schedules and other information, visit www.wmata.com/timetables and type K6 in the “Find Route” box.
Saint Stephen is on a hill. Look for the white cross on the front lawn or, seasonally, the lighted Christmas tree.
